Name: [Unknown] Young.
Occupation: Porter.
Place of accident: Gateshead, County Durham.
Injury: Fall and Giddy
Details of accident: The 2.20 pm express train from York ran into a Goods train near Gateshead but the Express train driver was able to reduce the speed so prevent a severe collision. None of the passengers were hurt except a Mr Young who said he had been thrown forward and fell very giddy
