Name: James Richardson.
Occupation: Guard.
Place of accident: Thirsk, Yorkshire.
Injury: Head severely cut
Details of accident: He was on the step of his van greasing the axles whilst doing so his head came in contract with one of the pillars of the bridge and he was knocked down on the line where he lay upwards for an hour. He was heard by the night porter at Thirsk who went to his assistance
