Details of accident: Express train leaving Tynemouth at 9.25 am ran against the 9.00 train leaving the same place, starting Walker station. Weather foggy at the time, the 9 o'clock train was late leaving Walker. None of the carriages were thrown off the line trains were at the Central Station Newcastle by 10 o'clock
