Folios 244-245: William Selby, HMS Cerberus, Jersey.
Refers to the enclosure which was waiting for him at the port. He believes that the letter concerning Charles Trufort may be a forgery.
Folios 246-247: enclosure with folios 244-245. William Marsden, Admiralty Office, 3 January 1785 orders William Shelby to discharge Charles Trufort, landsman, who is a freeholder in Devon.
