Folios 355-356: George Prevost, Government House, Dominica, to Sir William Smyth, Upper Grosvenor Street, London. Regarding Captain Smith, Smyth's son, health following his ship, HMS Osprey's grounding on shore at Prince Ruperts Bay which left him deranged. Since the incident mainly through the care of Mr Baillie, the Garrison Surgeon, his health has almost recovered from that calamitous state. However, Baillie recommends he is sent to a cold climate and has advised he return to England on the Leicester packet.
