Description

Folios 73-76. Letter from the Right Honourable Lord Viscount Weymouth, His Majesty's Principal Secretary of State, to 1st Earl Harcourt [Lord Lieutenant of Ireland] regarding the Committee of Council appointed to consider the Irish Bills lately transmitted from Ireland, which had observed with surprise that care was not taken to restore in one of the money bills to his Majesty's hereditary revenue a sum equal to the excess of the corn bounties above £35,000 per annum in pursuance of the 'obvious meaning' of the resolution of the House of Commons of Ireland agreed to on 15 March 1774 and requesting the Lord Lieutenant to address this. Dated at St. James's. Enclosed: Folios 75-76: Order of the Lords of the Committee of Council appointed to consider the Irish Bills regarding the above, dated 11 December 1775.
