Folios 51-54. Letter from 1st Earl Harcourt [Lord Lieutenant of Ireland] to the Right Honourable Lord Viscount Weymouth conveying the second 'Transmiss of the Session' consisting of the following Bills: (i) 'An Act for granting Annuities in the Manner therein provided to such Persons as shall voluntarily subscribe towards the raising a Sum not exceeding the Sum of £175,000'; (ii) 'An Act for granting to His Majesty His Heirs and Successors, several Duties upon Vellum Parchment and Papers'. Harcourt provides observations and particulars in relation to the contents of the two Bills, and refers to a third Bill sealed in Council at the same time entitled 'An Act to explain and Amend an Act passed last Session of Parliament entitled 'An Act for amending the Road from Dundalk to Dunlees in the County of Louth''. [Marginal notes indicated (i) and (ii) were both passed on 11 December, with the first receiving Royal Assent on 25 December 1775 and the second being returned to Ireland and afterwards passed there on 28 December 1775 before receiving Royal Assent on 8 January 1776].
