Folios 347-348: John Sykes, HMS Hecla, Dungeness. Requests the appointment of a Lieutenant to HMS Hecla in lieu of Lieutenant David Biddle who died at Deal Hospital on 29 June 1804. He points out that the seniority of Lieutenant Augustus Vere Drury is 23 September 1799 and requests the appointment be junior to him.
