Folios 249-250: Sir Richard John Strachan Bart., HMS Donegal, at sea. Reports that he has sent HMS Fisgard into Lisbon for provisions as he had taken as much as she could spare fro HMS Donegal. As the plaque at Gibraltar so bad that there can be no communication with the Rock. Having sent his letter dated 26 November 1804 he states he is proceeding within the Mediterranean as fast as he can and he proposes landing the Spanish Frigate to Malta as Gibraltar, from the information he has from Lord Monk Kerr will not be a proper place.
