Folios 31-32: Philip Somerville, HMS Nemesis, Torbay. Reports on the safety of HMS Nemesis following tremendous Gale of six days. [Gives details of his and the crews action including using a great deal of Cable as much as 221 fathoms upon the Bower and 195 upon the other]. He reports seeing HMS Blonde and as she does not appear bilged great hopes are entertained of getting her off by Casks and proper assistance next spring tide which Captain William Humphry Faulknor informs him he has applied to Admiral [Sir] William Young to order round from Plymouth - he also informs him that he has written a full detail of the whole proceedings of HMS Blonde from her sailing, the Needles, to the time she was driven on shore to Admiral George Montagu.
