Description

Folios 304-305: John Simpson, HMS Tourterelle, Greenock Roads. A Messenger from the High Court of Admiralty of Scotland has come on board and arrested Peter Blair for debt. He asks for guidance on the matter in relation to the recent Act of Parliament.

Folio 306: enclosed with folios 304-305. Receipt dated 28 September 1804 by John Paton, Messenger at Arms for the County of Renfrewshire, Greenock. A receipt for Peter Blair who has been arrested for debt.
