Folios 130-131: Matthew Henry Scott, HMS Niobe, Guernsey Roads. At the time Jonathan Furmidge, Carpenter of his ship was appointed to HMS Majestic, he requested that Richard Haines, Carpenter of HMS Atalante should be appointed to HMS Niobe. Mr Furmidge's warrant for HMS Majestic did not arrive until after she had sailed and as no person has been appointed to supercede him he is still on board. Repeats his request for Richard Haines to be Carpenter of HMS Niobe.
