Folios 279-280: enclosed with folios 277-278. Letter from Taylor Winship, Newcastle, to the Admiralty, 4 April 1803. Offers to provide two substitutes to secure the discharge of William Winship, recently impressed in London and now aboard HMS Antelope.
Folio 281-282: enclosed with folios 277-278. Letter from Taylor Winship, Newcastle, to the Admiralty, 13 April 1803. Acknowledges the Admiralty's letter about the discharge of William Winship and reports that his friends are seeking to have him made Master of a merchant vessel, and would be willing to produce two substitutes.
