Folios 212-213: Alexander Skene, HMS Lapwing, Shields. Encloses a return of men raised for the Lapwing and those discharged into other ships since 7 March. Reports it took the combined efforts of the Lapwing's crew and those of the press gang under Captain Mackenzie to overcome local opposition to the impress service.
Folios 214-215: enclosed with folios 212-213. Captain Alexander Skene, HMS Lapwing, Shields. A return of men raised for the ship and of those sent to the Nore in HMS Mynx [HMS Minx], HMS Harpy and HMS Cruizer since 7 March.
