Folios 165-166: John Simpson, HMS Tourterelle, Greenock. Because a letter addressed to Lieutenant Gybbon of the cutter Royal George has been in the Post Office at Greenock for some time, he took it upon himself to open it, and finds it concerns beds issued to William Colquhoun and James Hamilton. Believes they belonged to the tender Peggy under Regulating Captain Sandford Tatham's direction, while the signature"Gybbons" he believes is that of the Mate of the Royal George Revenue Cutter that was used to carry impressed men to Plymouth.
