Folios 158-159: John Simpson, HMS Tourterelle, Greenock. Refers to the Admiralty's letter to his agents, Cooke & Halford, about his journals for the HMS Santa Teresa and HMS Lutine. He has been trying for some time to locate Samuel Willson, Master of HM Store Ship Diligent, to whom he entrusted his journals, as well as other possessions. Asks again for an order allowing him to dispense with the journals so he can draw his pay for these ships.
