Folios 149-150: Christopher Strachey, HMS Jalouse, Greenwich. Has arrived at Greenwich. Recalling the events of HMS Jalouse, she was on the Mud abreast of Deptford owing to the Pilot who was deceived by thick weather of the distance from the Northern Shore. The strain affected several butt ends and damaged almost eight feet of false keel which had rested on mooring chains. He asks for time for the Hold to be examined as she is making four inches or more every hour. Before the accident this was less than this in a fortnight. The butt ends have been chined by people at the Dockyard, but is uncertain about others underwater and the strain on the copper. He lists forty newly raised man from eleven different named Rendezvous. Also from HMS Amelia, John White alias Walter sent on board by Captain Lord Crosby to be taken for detention for his trial at the Nore for desertion.
