Folios 110-111: James Stewart, HMS Europa, Portsmouth. Encloses completed forms for Mr. McMillan who appears to have been an Acting Lieutenant since 13 June 1800 and since 13 September been First Lieutenant. He has fulfilled this position with great care and attention and has served on the Nile and had charge of the [Pontoon?]. Mr. Cason, the Master is under the same circumstances and is a good sober, steady man. They both deserve the attention and enclose their acting orders,
