Folios 85-86: James Stevenson, HMS Africaine, St Helens. Reports on his voyage from Malta this month as directed with HMS Thisbe, Heroine and Good Design, armed vessels under his orders having onboard one hundred and seventy four of the 12th Light Dragoons. HMS Thisbe was prevented from leaving the harbour because of an accident. Captain Stevenson parted company from HMS Heroine and Good Design during a heavy gale off Sicily.
Folios 87-88: enclosure with folios 85-86. James Stenenson encloses a report on the state of the ship, defects and condition and a list of ships at Malta at the time of departure.
