Folios 76-77: John Steven, HMS Chichester, Sheerness. reports that the ship was fully loaded in a safe manner at Deptford with stores for Jamaica. There is only room for accommodating the ship's company. General Grinfield has sent on board a river barge as part of his luggage and the latter's Aide-de-camp informs the Captain that there will be more to come. Asks for approval to unload part of the cordage stowed under the tiller n the gunroom to make room for the General's luggage. He encloses a description of four deserters.
