Folios 68-69: John Steven HMS Chichester, Sheerness. Encloses a letter from John Hill Boatswain who asks for an exchange with Mr. Daniel Cunningham, late Boatswain of HMS Boreas, the reason is explained in the enclosed letter. The Captain has no objection to this proposal.
Folios 70-71: enclosure with folios 68-69. Letter dated 2 June 1802 by John Hill to Captain Steven. Hill has learnt that HMS Chichester is going to the West Indies and his state of health is not equal to that climate. He asks to exchange with Mr. Daniel Cunningham, late Boatswain of HMS Boreas.
