Folios 290-291: Philip Somerville, HMS Nemesis, the Hamoaze. Reports that although Gunner Samuel Gooderham has been appointed to HMS Hero, he has not yet been superceded. Asks if he can be released before the ship leaves Plymouth to avoid his having to travel from Milford Haven. Returns [not present] the letter concerning John Thomas, as there is no one of that name on the Nemesis.
