Folios 273-274: Philip Somerville, HMS Nemesis, Milford Haven. Acknowledges the letter directing the ships of his squadron to go to Plymouth when they need provisions. Reports he has not received any instructions about reducing the crew of his ships and thinks his letter of 20 August must have gone astray. Encloses a copy of it, a letter from Commander Henry Burke of HMS Seagull with particulars of the smuggling lugger Hawke, which she has brought into port, and [not present] the state and condition of the Nemesis, Seagull, HMS Spitfire, HMS Escort and HMS Insolent.
Folio 275: enclosed with folios 273-274. Captain Philip Somerville, HMS Nemesis, Milford Haven. [Duplicate of folios 271-272].
Folio 276: enclosed with folios 273-274. Letter dated 26 August 1802 from Commander Henry Burke, HMS Seagull, at sea, to Captain Philip Somerville, HMS Nemesis, Milford Haven. Reports the capture of the smuggling lugger Hawke.
