Folios 271-272: Philip Somerville, HMS Nemesis, off St David's Head. Acknowledges the letter directing the ships of his squadron to enter enough men to fill up their reduced complement, but reports that none of his vessels have had any reduction in their crews. As HMS Escort was damaged in a squall yesterday, suggests she could carry the reduced men to Plymouth. Encloses [not present] the state and condition of the Nemesis, Escort, HMS Spitfire and HMS Insolent.
