Folios 213-214: Alexander Skene, HMS La Determinée, Portsmouth. Asks that Purser Samuel John Wilkins be ordered to join immediately, encloses a letter showing that acting Purser Major Victor Crosby is not able to supply the ship.
Folio 215: enclosed with folios 213-214. Letter dated 2 September 1802 from the Victualling Office to Major Victor Crosby, HMS La Determinée, Portsmouth. They are not able to supply the ship until the Purser has given the customary security.
