Description

Folios 270-271: Reporting his arrival on roads so bad that the midshipman has yet to arrive with the details of what had happened at Castle Donnington.

Bobbit has been impressed before when he belonged to the Supplementary Cavalry and Lieutenant Seymor released him.

Folios 272-273: enclosure with folios 270-271. Letter dated 22 April 1800 from Smith Holmes. As Captain Short has gone to apprehend Luke Abbot, a deserter. he has opened the letter of 21 April 18000 concerning Robert Bobbit currently at the Rendezvous. He was working in the fishing trade when he was impressed.
