Description

Folios 265-266: Admiralty Office. Request HMS Ulysses armed transport is exempt from quarantine as there’s no malignant or infectious complaint amongst the crew. Convoying trade for Ireland and the Bristol Channel from Lisbon.

Folios 267-268: enclosed in folios 265-266. Letter dated 25 July 1799 by Captain James Stevenson, HMS Europa, Spithead. Reports his arrival. Sailed [Portugal] 30 June. HMS Ulysses convoying trade to Bristol, St Georges Channel and Ireland, returning Spithead.
