Description

Folios 275-276: Michael Setmore, HMS Spitfire, Belfast. He left for Plymouth as there were no ships for convoy but met the Thalia from Liverpool who had a letter from the Chairman of the Shipping Committee so he has returned to wait for ships from Liverpool.

Folio 277: enclosure with folios 275-276. Letter dated 13 September 1799 by J. G. Richard to Michael Seymour, Liverpool. Mr Nepean has told him that HMS Spitfire is to take the convoy so he is ending names of eight ships and their destinations that will be arriving.
