Folios 139-140: George Sayles, HMS Xenophon, Mouth of the Elbe. He saw the convoy safe to the Ems, Weser and Elbe with HMS Pylades, Discovery and Boxer. He had orders from Sir James Crawford for a sloop to be sent to Hamburg to collect the rebels Napper Tandy and three others to be taken to England. [Wolf Tone's right hand man]. The prisoners were put aboard on 1 October 1799 but a violent storm has delayed him. He is sending a letter for the Duke of Portland via the packet.
