Folios 345-346: Joseph Short, [Regulating Officer], Norman Cross Prison. He reports that on his arrival at this place, he applied to Captain Daniel Woodriff the Superintendent of Prisons to see the 58 mentioned in their Lordships Order to him, when he informed him that most of them had been discharged by orders of the Transport Board only Berend Dirk Huster, Henrich Giese and Herm Schwictert being left who, on being asked to enter into the Service of the Navy, refused.
