Folios 343-344: Joseph Short, [Regulating Officer], Lynn [Kings Lynn]. Reports that yesterday he impressed Robert Bittern Mate of the Argo of this place he was on shore and not on the ships duty as he says he was going to get his breakfast, the ship is on the way to be repaired where she as been this ten days, she is constantly employed in the Coal & Corn Trade but mostly the latter. He also states that he had not his affidavit with him. Request to know if he should be sent in the Tender this week.
