Folios 336-337: Joseph Short, [Regulating Officer], Lynn [Kings Lynn]. Covering letter for the enclosed [not present] weekly return also a monthly return [not present] of Wells [Wells-next-the-Sea]. He reminds that the two ships Company of the Greenland men came onshore at this place armed with their cutting knives etc. James Hart had one of the new Protections dated 6 September 1798. He has also impressed a young man belonging to a Collier but was on shore having a sufficient number of men and the tides answering he means to send the Tender away on Wednesday. He requests direction.
