Folios 270-271: Joseph Short, [Regulating Officer], Lynn [Kings Lynn]. He states that Thomas Kemp apprentice to Mr William Garland came voluntarily and entered at the Rendezvous last night, he acknowledges being used to boats before the date of his Indenture, his Master meaning to apply to for his release. He has thought it proper to lay the case before them, that if they approve he may go in the Tender which will sail on Friday.
