Folios 243-244: Joseph Short, [Regulating Officer] Lynn [Kings Lynn]. Reports that tis morning he apprehended John Morgan who deserted from the Eleanor Tender in December 1793, he complained of being in ill health. He desired the Surgeon to examine him who's report he encloses [not present]. He will keep him until he received directions.
Folio 245: enclosure with folios 243-244. Letter dated 22 January 1798 by Thomas [Lepwood], Lynn. Report that John Morgan is a very unhealthy man, subject to [?]phulous and Consumptive Complaints and unfit to serve in the Royal navy.
