Folios 209-210: George James Shirley, HMS Megaera, Spithead. States that Mr Francis Light, Boatswain of HMS Megaera having been absent for twelve days without leave. Request he be superceded and recommend George Ray Boatswain's Mate of HMS Royal George be appointed in his place, Captain William Domett having a very good opinion of him.
