Folios 337-338: Robert Stopford, HMS Phaeton, Hamoaze, Plymouth. He writes on behalf of 8 Seamen (John Burnett, John Campbell, James Steel, Richard Sandhill, William Southwaite, George Ewen, Thomas Hunt, James Yates) who were sent aboard HMS Phaeton from HMS Sandwich. The men are part of the crew of HMS Maidstone and were sent to England as part of the crew of a prize taken off the coast of West Africa. The men have not received their wages and he asks that this takes place.
