Folios 236-237: Joseph Short, Lynn.
Refers to two enclosures [not present]: a weekly return for the Rendezvous and a list of men enrolled to serve in the gun boats. He has secured James Ellin, a deserter from Peterborough.
He has received a letter from HMS Venerable saying that Thompson is a deserter from that ship and he intends to put him on board the tender with fifteen other men when she calls in at Yarmouth Roads.
