Folios 199-200: Richard John Strachan, HMS Melampus, off Guernsey. Reports his proceedings off St Maloes [Malo]. Mentions St Maloes [Malo], Chouzin, Cape Frehel, Granville, Cancalle and Cape Filaman. Reports state of enemy vessels at St Malo. They chased some of the enemy's small vessels without being able to destroy them. Mentions HMS Camilla, HMS Childers, HMS Daphne HMS Syren and HMS Grand Falconer. Mentions Captain D'Auvergne and Lieutenant Pearson.
