Description

Japan: Hakodate: British Vice-Consulate. Plan of Consular ground and offices, also showing showing road, stone revetment, Japanese government offices ('Sibansho'), private properties, constables' quarters, levels of plateaus and roads, earth cutting, out offices and passage, open yard, verandah, consul's residence and well. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet. Signed by R Boyce, Assistant Surveyor. Stamped by Office of Works, Shanghai.
