Court and Date of Trial: Committed to Spilsby [Lincolnshire] House of Correction 26 December 1849.
Crime: Night poaching.
Initial sentence: Three months' imprisonment and sureties. A further six months' imprisonment for want of sureties.
Outcome: Free pardon 16 May 1850.
Petitions and letters: Letter from Richard Clitherow, clerk, on behalf of the visiting justices requesting the release of the prisoner on the grounds of his good conduct in gaol and his inability to find the sureties.
