Folios 235-236: Thomas Sotheby, HMS Andromeda, off Bremer Lehe. The artillery and ordenance are embarking at Vegesack to vessels at Harrybrack. The troops have arrived here to be embarked and the ships will wait downstream when full. General Harcourt mentions foreign troops to be embarked, about 1600, but he has had no instructions about them so he will keep them aboard the transports until he gets orders. Mr Probyn, Lieutenant on HMS Venus is sick and should be given leave in England. Nine victaullers have arrived from Embden and Stadt laden with clothing and stores. Captain Popham bought the Nimrod cutter which he is keeping as the Transports pay no attention to signals and get separated easily. Five regiments are to embark tomorrow and the same tomorrow with all troops out in three days.
