Folios 145-146: Edward Tye Smith, HMS Abergavenny, Spithead. In answer to the letter of 3 September 1795, Mr Micheson assures him that no order to use violence was given. They knocked the Midshipman down with a landspike so he is now in Haslar hospital and fell on Micheson and destroyed his press warrant.
