Folios 135-136: Edward Tye Smith, HMS Abbgavenny, Nore. William Barnett's certificate for Nottingham was sent to Captain Mowatt and then to the Admiralty so he can be paid as Commissioner Harwood can do nothing.
Folios 137-138: enclosure with folios 135-136. Copy of letter dated 19 August 1795 received from William Barnett's mother, Elizabeth, Basford. She is sorry he has not had his bounty so she has written to Treasurer Falkner and he wrote a certificate which is enclosed [not present]. Mr Bennett says the money was paid into the Treasurer's hand but he never received any letter from you.
