Folios 234-235: Thomas Sotheby, HMS Andromeda, Hamoaze, Plymouth. He expresses his anger that two Shipowners in Plymouth, Messrs. Bailey and Sheppherd, have made a complaint about his conduct while he commanded HMS Daphne in convoying merchant ships in the English Channel. He justifies his conduct.
