Folios 214-215: Wilson Rathborne, North Shields. Responding to Mr Barrow's request of 20 February he is sending information on William Potts, now aboard the tender Eliza. Potts was impressed by Lieut. Flinn at North Shields on 10 February and detained as it appeared that the owner of the ship, Anthony Landers, had sailed in her on the voyage to America and thus was protecting one man more than is legally allowed. Says Potts is an active young man, fit for the Navy.
