Reports no arrivals or sailings since his last report. expects there will be sufficient water for HMS Providence to come out of dock tomorrow, in which case he will proceed to Cork as ordered, weather permitting. his orders were transmitted through Vice Admiral R Murray, in a letter from Yarmouth dated 4 December. As ordered by Vive Admiral Murray, he will leave the Port Orders and Instructions with Lieutenant Thomas of the Signal Station if there is no Senior Officer in The Humber.
