Folio 465: Wilson Rathborne, Regulating Officer, North Shields. Responding to the letter of 14 December. A report on the case of Robert Wardle was sent on 28 October. He encloses a copy and returns the enclosure. See folio 340.

Folios 467-468: enclosure with folio 465. Petition dated 18 December 1811 from James Wardle, Sunderland, to The Admiralty. Petition for the discharge of his son, Robert Wardle, serving on board HMS Adamant afer being pressed at Sunderland on 17 October. He was pressed from the Margaret Collier, Captain Armstrong. Wishes to know the terms for his discharge. He is an apprentice, and his family depend upon him.
Folios 469-470: enclosure with folios 467-468. Petition dated 8 December 1811 from Robert Wardall, HMS Adamant, Leith Roads, to The Admiralty. Reports that he was pressed by George Sweeny, a Midshipman belonging to the Sunderland press gang, from the Margaret, in the coal trade. Requests his discharge.
