Folios 415-416: Wilson Rathborne, Regulating Officer, North Shields. Responding to the letter of 4 December and sends a report on the case of Anthony Palin. He returns the enclosure. Anthony Palin, Able Seaman, was pressed by Lieutenant Liddle, Sunderland, on 27 November and detained for the Service as being found on shore at night, not on ship's duty. He is 21 years of age, has been at sea for 9 years, and is a stout healthy young man, well suited for service.
Folios 417-418: enclosure with folios 415-416. Letter dated 2 December 1811 from Wilbank and Petyt, Ships Brokers, Jones Coffee House to The Admiralty. They have received a letter from Matthew Horne, ship owner, informing them that his nephew, Anthony Palin, was pressed at Sunderland. He was Chief Mate of his ship Nimrod. He requests the discharge of his nephew on payment of a sum of money, and authorises Wilbank and Petyt to pay on his behalf.
