Folios 399-400: John Richards, 32 Berners Street, [London]. Responding to the letter of 2 December regarding the circumstances under which the extra allowance of cocoa and sugar was issued to the crew of HMS Abercrombie between 17 April and 12 June 1809. He was not on board HMS Abercrombie during that time, only taking command on 13 June 1809.
