Folios 346-347: Samuel Rowley, HMS Laurel, The Downs. Reports his arrival from St Helena, having left on 20 September with the convoy as listed on the enclosed [not present]. Also sends an account of the voyage since his departure from Portsmouth [not present]. Also reports that Captain Spencer, late of HMS Blanche, and Lieutenant Baldwin of HMS Astrea, travelled as passengers in HMS Laurel from St Helena with despatches from the Isles of France.
